Aphrodisiac Soap

In far-flung lands, Ylang Ylang flowers are traditionally sprinkled onto the bed of newlyweds and the essential oil is said to have strong aphrodisiac qualities. The deep sweet scent marries beautifully with the floral notes of Rose Geranium essential oil. Add a few handfuls of dried rose petals and it's a soap scent match made in heaven!

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

The rich, deep, sweet scent of Ylang Ylang is extracted from its beautiful large yellow flowers. Found in exotic countries, this woody plant is known as the 'perfume tree' and its oil is used widely in perfumery. A deeply soothing yet uplifting scent is said to have mood-boosting qualities and help to alleviate anxiety.

Enriched with Cocoa and Shea Butters

We add two kinds of butter into our base oils mix in this soap bar recipe. Cocoa and shea butters are fantastic for nourishing dry skin and providing it with nutrients and fatty acids, essential in aiding the repair of dry and damaged skin. Perfect to use as a hand soap but this rose soap also creates a rich, soft lather gentle enough for the face and whole body.
