Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil

‘Teatree’ is actually the name given to many plants native to Australia and New Zealand, their leaves have been historically brewed to use as a substitute for tea, hence the name. The aroma is fresh and medicinal, and a little woody/herbaceous. Teatree oil has antibacterial and antifungal properties, it is often applied topically, for infections like acne and fungal nail infections. I really love the scent, it’s maybe not for everyone, but it grows on you.
